Amanda

The work of a doctor’s receptionist is exceptionally important as they are often the first person you speak to about your problem.  They have a very difficult role, trying to encourage patients to give them information they require, whilst maintaining and working within the practice rules.

All of our receptionists work at both sites, but for continuity the receptionists also have one site which is their 'home' site.

Our team located at The College Yard Surgery are Sandra and Janet.

Janet is the lead for carers at College Yard practice.

At Highnam Surgery we predominantly have Fran and Julie in reception together with Judith who works at both sites and who also does some dispensing.

Secretaries

Carol

Carol is responsible for all referrals, insurance reports, letters and other administrative duties.

Nikky

Nikky's main task is the typing and processing of referral letters.
